We're thrilled to introduce our newest intakes: Crouton and Cornbread, two capybaras we took in recently. To celebrate their arrival and support their socialization, we're launching Capybara Connection Days — a unique, small-group experience designed to foster conservation, connection, and calm.

As proud advocates for livestock conservancy, we believe in connecting people with animals in respectful, natural settings — offering Crouton and Cornbread the best home possible while supporting their socialization in alignment with our mission of thoughtful, ethical stewardship and animal rescue.

During these limited sessions, a handful of guests will have the rare chance to spend time up-close with Crouton and Cornbread, learning about capybara behavior, their role in the ecosystem, and what we can all do to help protect their wild counterparts. These gentle giants thrive on social interaction, and your presence helps them feel more at home. Kindly note- these interactive visits are SOLELY time with capybaras, no other animals are included in this visit. If you'd like to visit and meet our entire crew- please book a farm tour. 

These visits will take place in the capybaras’ own environment, where they feel safe and in control. This is not a petting zoo experience — it’s a quiet, intentional space where guests can learn about capybara behavior, conservation, and the importance of allowing animals to set the pace of interaction.

Because Crouton and Cornbread are still getting comfortable in their new surroundings, they may be curious and friendly, or they may prefer to observe from a distance. We’ll follow their lead, always prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
